This road trip is going to be a serious trial by fire for the roster under Horachek. Could have a significant impact on moves made at the deadline and after the season.

I seen the 4 games this week and said to myself if we get 2 points out of it I would be happy. This trip and week I feel will sink us further out of the playoffs and although there is plenty of time left I think management will start making some changes after it.

Does anyone have a decent stream going?  The three listed in the GDT haven't worked for me all season and my usual, goatd.net, is crap tonight.

Rules kill me in this league. Wasn't the other King forward in the crease?

There's no rule against being in the crease if you don't make contact with the goalie or legitimately interfere with their ability to make a save. The LA player didn't touch Bernier or get in his way on that one.

Could have a significant impact on my work performance in the morning as well...

I'm needing a clear sign from the Leafs whether or not this game is worth staying up late for, and so far they're delivering an answer.

Clarkson, fresh after taking an awful penalty, gets back on the takes to relieve tired guys in his own end and proceeds to..... do absolutely nothing.

Yep. Although they do look a little better after the penalty kill.

I've never seen Clarkson skate faster than when he saw that there was a scrum going on on the other side of the rink.

A lot of borderline (to full-blown) charging hits, hits of Leafs without the puck and general questionable hits (Kadri was hit from behind).

There's "letting them play" and letting the game get out of hand IMO.

Rough start to the period, but, the Leafs picked things up as things went on. They only had 3 shots, but, they also only allowed 7, so, all in all, not awful. Once they got into the game, things felt pretty even - though, mostly because neither team was able to get much going for them.

Not sure what the linesmen are looking at either..

I find alot of the hits from the western teams are close to being dirty. It seems like they have a different set of rules for the western teams.

BTW Kyperios sucks as a commentator.
