There's no 'love' for Ashton, just the desire to see him get a decent chance at the NHL level instead of 4:00-6:00 when he's called up on the 4th line.  He can score in the AHL, might as well see if he can in the NHL with decent linemates.

If I had a choice I bench Franson and give T.J. Brennan a chance. That is not going to happen either.

I'm not asking to get into the whole Ashton debate again, but making the case for him to get more TOI would be a bit easier if he actually did score sometime.

He scores plenty in the AHL and has been getting chances in the NHL despite playing with crap offensive linemates in crap minutes.  I would hope the people making those decisions look at more than the goal column on the stat sheet.

Kulemin back at centre in Holland's absence (stomach flu), paired with Raymond and Bodie.

I think Bernier is solid in this one and the Leafs sneak out a win. Honestly, and maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think L.A. can keep up with Toronto offensively.

markhmasters: With the pre-game ceremony, puck drop for Kings-Leafs tonight probably won't be until 10:45 pm ET ish

Who are they honouring? Kerry Fraser?

markhmasters: Jim Fox to be honoured by Kings pre-game as part of team?s Legends Night Series; Jay Wells & Larry Murphy similarly feted earlier in season

Who cares about the Kings 8 game winning streak?!

Break out the guillotine!!

That's part of the reason I think Leafs will win, Kings will lose at some point.  Law of averages and all that.
Ya but we're talking about the Leafs!

although that memory does stir anger in me..........

Man couldn't they do this when they were playing another west coast team instead of keeping an east coast audience up even later?

Yeah, I mean I know it's selfish, but that really seems like poor planning. This and the San Jose game should have also started at 10pm like the Anaheim game.

If they want to kill East Coast viewership they're doing a hell of a good job at it.

Watching you all cry about the start time time is a little funny, every game started at midnight for me when I lived back in Scotland and 3am when they where out west.

So...why exactly is Clarkson back on the Kadri line? I guess his fights were enough to earn a promotion?
