Leafs @ Kings - Nov. 24th, 10:00pm - SN, Fan 590

Great game from start to finish glad they kept it up for the full 60. 2 lame calls on us that resulted in 2 LA PP goals. Onto SJ.

This bothers me.  Refs stopped calling LA penalties because of game management and then give a penalty to Ritchie.

Durzi gets a goal on that PP but it?s one that probably shouldn?t have been called giving the half dozen they let LA get away with earlier
Oh no doubt that was a cheap call on Ritchie... brutal call.

Yeah, not sure what that extended narrative was all about.  They were going on like Ritchie had flushed Jack's favorite goldfish down the toilet.

That's Simpson for you. There's a reason Keefe put Ritchie back out there after the goal against.

Well, I hope Dubas is happy with himself for trading away Durzi.
He should be, it got us Muzzin who's arguably been our best D man since getting traded here. It's ok for both teams to do well in the same trade.

Uhh, is anyone able to explain to me how this was a "tripping" penalty?

Kampf fell down, so, must have been tripped?

Also, wanted to pile on to the scorn for those awful helmets. And they terrible white gloves they've paired them with. The chrome thing works for goalie masks. It looks terrible on skaters. Vegas' helmets were bad enough. LA's are worse.

Frank is going to be deeply, deeply sorry he couldn't stay up for this.

Well of course they had a great game.  And I'm not watching tomorrow night either, so they're likely to light it up again.
