It?s going to be fun getting shut out by Andersen on Monday

Yeah, I'm not so sure about Bieksa's airy confidence that all of this will be forgotten by G15.

The Leafs lost this one in the first ten minutes.  As usual, they couldn't establish dominance over a depleted team.  They just don't have what it takes.

This was only the 6th game, and this team does have a lot of new faces, so I'm trying real hard to not get too wound just yet. Still, much more is needed from our high priced forwards.

I actually thought that earlier in this game the boys took it to them, controlled much of the play, but 3 or 4 unfortunate bounces totally deflated them. When they couldn't convert on the one powerplay, they seemed to throw in the towel.

I can forget all about this clunker if they respond properly in Carolina against a tough defensive team and light up Andersen at the same time.

Tonight Campbell played more like your idea of Andersen than your idea of Campbell.  He was terrible, just like the rest of them.  I think the jury's still out on whether he can get it done as a #1.  Hope tonight was an anomaly.

Kerfoot has gone back to being kind of useless.

Jared McCann has 6 points in 6 games.

I?m really starting to feel like this team isn?t capable of getting it together.  Their play is all around the perimeter and they get shut down when teams play tighter neutral zone defense.  It?s the same record playing over and over again.

I'm not overly worried. They've done ok despite getting very little from their main guys so either their all-stars have all of a sudden turned into bad players or they're in a slump and they'll get better.

I?m not gong to pretend like this isn?t concerning. But in my head I said I?d give the team 10 games to get their act together.

I think by that point if things are still the same then I think a big reset button has to be hit.

I'd rather it happen now then at the end of the season..Plenty of time to turn this around.

Lots more games to figure this out than in a 7 game series. The fun thing is all opponents had two/three whole series now to see exactly how to bone the Leafs (let them bone themselves in essence), so we are going to get a lot of practice. I will riot, however, if the only solution appears to be play the piss out of Matthews and Marner.
