Hey there's Phil. Imagine we win this?

Imagine. Part of me hopes they don't. I think they really need to feel the full brunt of this pathetic performance, and a win would take some of the weight off of it.

They have already felt the brunt of several pathetic performances, so they might as well win one they don't deserve.

Smart Nazem good timing. Tie it up and then give them a PP. Kill it off and if we can even salvage a point out of this dismal effort I'll be happy.

They've had many pathetic performances. I'm entirely unconvinced they've felt the brunt of many, if any, of them.

What does feeling the brunt of a loss entail?

Well, strictly speaking, it means the death of the losers, kind of like in the golden age of the gladiators.  So busta is right.

Weak call on Phaneuf but all he had to do there was just keep skating backwards. I don't know why he's waving his stick at Datsyuk like that, with that much open ice.

Clarkson logic.  I don't know where the puck is...better skate full bore into the offensive zone.
