Leafs @ sens - Nov. 9th, 6:00pm - CityTV, TSN 1050

What was JVR doing there? Leafs win draw and he just skates up the ice with his back to the D. If he looks back he would see what Hoffman saw and could have stopped that. Hoffman recognized that JVR wasn't looking.

The Leafs always look like they never have a clue what to do 5 seconds after a faceoff win or loss.

He was expecting Reilly to not suck.

What did he want Rielly to do if he's not looking? Throw it on a perfect angle to get by the sens player and hit his stick without him turning back?

Put it hard enough around the boards so it's by Hoffman before he gets there, then chip it by the D, get a breakaway, go top cheddar, then celly. Duh!

After that goal and one or two other good chances (Reimer made a few big saves), the Leafs have played well.

It was a good shot, but much like the first goal, Polak did nothing but get in the way.

First one went through him, the second one deflected off him. I don't think he can really be blamed for either.

Just joining. Clarkson and Kadri with only 3 1/2 minutes; 4th line with 4 1/2 minutes.

What's up?

Carlyle.  Honestly there was no reason for it.  JVR and Polak were involved in both Senators goals.

Komarov's 9th assist of the year on Holland's goal gives him a career high of 10 points.
