Hopefully the Leafs give us at least one goal to cheer for while staying up past midnight to watch them three of the last four nights. Third time's a charm.  :-\

I hate the Sharks. We haven't played well against them since beating them in the playoffs years ago.

Peter Horachek gives no update on Booth. Couldn't say if he had concussion test. Komarov sits again tomorrow though.

Eeesh, Booth has a bad history with concussions too. Looks like somebody from the Marlies will need to be called up.

Unfortunately they won't be able to be here tonight. So I guess they may dress 7 d-man.

They likely made arrangements to have somebody fly over last night. It wouldn't be impossible to get another forward over.

Frattin up. I'm not his biggest fan but at least see what he can do in the top-9. Something like:

Winnik-Bozak-Kessel
JVR-Kadri-Frattin
Panik-Santorelli-Clarkson
Bodie-Smith-Carrick

Lets hope for a win, or even a goal for that matter.

On the road, back to back. This could get real ugly....

5-1 sharks.

Yes but they now have a system 8)

We always had a system. It's just that the old system generated more goals and more wins than loses, and the new one has generated, well.... ;)

I don't think we need to jump off the cliff with negative outlook, obviously the new system is being implemented and the team is buying in and for the most part raising possession and cutting down shots against.  I think they have had a bit of bad puck luck in the last two, but when you consider we have lost, basically our second line to injuries, the difference that Lupul, Holland, Komorav would have made to the last two games outcomes probably would have been significant. We have two or three really great defensive prospect, Nylander and one whole draft to go through to compliment this team in 16, with good coaching and a healthy team I don't think we are all that far off, certainly nothing to have a really negative Wednesday AM.

Before we read more "at least before they blah blah blah puke puke puke":

@SkinnyPPPhish

Leafs were 1-3-0 in Carlyle's last 4 games, 1-3-0 in Horachek's first 4

GF/GA in Carlyle's last 4; 7/14 GF/GA in Horachek's first 4; 7/14

SF/SA in Carlyle's last 4: 100/138 SF/SA in Horachek's first 4: 112/91

Yes defensively better. We need some goals, so playing defense has something to protect.
