Kessel when in a slump is a very useless player. He has one move. Come down the wing, put the brakes on, and shoot. Yeah, no one will ever catch on to that pal.

Yeah, he's had a real tough time getting goals and points.  Totally figured out.

HAHA was that sarcasm? I did say when he is in a slump.

He scored a goal tonight...

Shots 21-12.  Nonis, he's not your hire, Leafs haven't improved under him, fire Carlyle already.  Team is in just as much defensive disarray as when he arrived, so what's he accomplished?

Agree with you 100%. Said that 2 months ago and if the team didn't improve defensively they weren't going to make the playoffs unless the 2 net minders kept standing on their head.

He's the same player when he's in a "slump" or not.  People just view him differently whether the puck goes into the net.  It has a magical ability to make you either lazy or a star game to game.

A tough schedule of late, but the Leafs just look slow.  Maybe playing 9 forwards a night isn't a good idea when you have a condensed schedule.

well the night's not a total loss yet..... My Jonathan has scored in Chicago to give his Blackhawks a lead over the BLues........

*sigh* never mind.... it was Keith's goal not My Jonathan's.......

On a positive note I'm able to stream this game from my PC to my Chromecast on the TV.

OK that's not really a positive tonight I guess.

Or to play 4th liners 2 min per game most of the year....

That was fast. Chromecast was just released today in Canada. Do you like it?

The #leafs say Paul Ranger is stable, conscious and alert in hospital.

Had mine since Sept cause my wife's cousin brought it up from the US. Use it everyday and love it.

Get a kick out of the TSN crew. What's gone wrong with the Leafs the last 8 periods. HELLO. Been like that for more than 8 periods.

Agree and it only gets worse from here. No 4th line will definitely be factor if/when this season crashes and burns.

Carlyle should give that Netflix commercial speech to the players because whatever he really is saying isn't sinking in.
