Hip injury IIRC.

Is there any way to find what Colborne's game by game stats are? I hear he's doing well recently.

22 points in his last 24 games. He's taken off ever since he was given the opportunity when Kadri and Frattin went up to the Leafs.

It seems like the Marlies are back on track after struggling a little bit when the NHL initially returned. 6 wins in their past 8 games. They are leading their division, albeit by just 2 points. 5 points ahead of 9th place, but they have a ridiculous 6 games in hand on that team. 6 points ahead of the 10th place team, with 1 game in hand there.

What's interesting is that Reimer's injury might have had a lot to do with this. Drew McIntyre, who the Marlies signed when Rynnas was called up, has been fantastic so far. 5-2-1 with a 1.72 GAA and 0.934 SA%. All while Rynnas and Owuya have struggled.

@MattGourlie
Morgan Rielly will join the AHL Toronto Marlies on Wednesday.

Edit: Or not... Still haven't seen another mention.

Nonis talked about it on the radio today. Said that the Leafs definitely have plans for him (and all of their other signed junior prospects), but that the team doesn't share these plans with the media, player, or the players junior team until after the players season is completely over.

But yeah, you can pretty much guarantee that Rielly will be a Marlie soon. His last regular season game will be on Sunday.

Absolutely would be true, Sunday is Moose Jaw's last game.  The Marlies are on the road in Lake Erie on Tuesday so maybe they will hold out a bit on his debut and allow him to practice with the team and get ready for Fridays game in Chicago.

Small thing, but Moose Jaw's last game is tomorrow night in Brandon.  The Warriors beat Brandon tonight at home in their last home game.  Rielly has certainly helped a very young (they have been the youngest in the CHL at times this year) mature.  As much as I look forward to him becoming a Marlie and Leaf, I still kind of hope he comes back to lead a promising team next year.

Check out the YouTube vids of Rielly, off this page, especially the 2nd one, which all comes from one game:

Another win last night, 6-1 and Hamilton with a hattie.

Drew MacIntyre a 29 year journeyman who has always performed well in the AHL but with only 100 minutes of NHL experience to his credit is now:

6-2-1 1.65 .938

Eakins has once again taken a team on a 7-2 run despite being very devoid of any real talent or at least very little.  I had wrote off the Marlies as they went on a spiral after the lockout but Eakins has taken those games to mold these guys into believers once again.  Eakins certainly is a valuable guy for our Leafs, hate to lose him.

Sunday brings another 5-3 win for the Marlies over Lake Erie.  Rynnas this time gets the start.  Brad Ross has 4 goals and 5 points in his last 4 games.  Hamilton yet another goal giving him 29 in 55 games this season.  So proud of our Marlies the 8-2 run they are now on is tops in the AHL over the last 10 games.

Looks like Rynnas is leaving.

@MaStrozyk: Newspaper Kaleva reporting #Leafs Jussi Rynn?s is close to a contract with SM-liiga's K?rp?t.

It's disappointing, but, he'll be 26 in May and hasn't really forced his way into the NHL. As goalies go, he's at the age where, if he's going to be an NHL goalie, he should pretty much already be an NHL goalie.

It basically says that Karpat Oulu is looking for a new No1 goalie for the season 2013/14 and apparently is close to reaching an agreement with Jussi Rynnas, who according to the article - is likely to return home if he does not get one way contract offer in the NHL. Rynnas would have guaranteed position and minutes in Oulu.

If that happens, it is understandable. By acquiring MacIntyre and particularly by his great play he lost his No. 1 job. Bringing MacIntyre surprised me I hoped Rynnas gets plenty of minutes and will push Scrivens for the Leafs back-up job, but Rynnas ultimately lost his job. Hopefully the Leafs do not lose Mark Owuya as well.

At this point, if this proves correct, I would rather see Owuya being backup to MacIntyre. Rynnas seems to be gone.
