Well, the Marlies got better.  :-\ Any margaritas left?

Just one of those years where, really, there wasn't much going on at the deadline at all. Other than Carter, there's not a player that was moved I really wanted the Leafs to go after. Prices were clearly too high for just about everyone.

You can't under estimate the value to the organization if the Marlies go on a deep playoff run. An AHL championship would be pretty special for the up and coming Leafs players.

markhmasters: Leafs GM Brian Burke expected to address reporters at 3:30 pm ET

It's going to be held in Real Sports Bar and Grill. It would have been in the ACC but the place is on fire and the prices the Fire Department were asking were outrageous.

Funny guy, if you're not going to discuss it why even bother responding.

I genuinely couldn't think of a better way of illustrating why Toronto's individual demand would be unusually high.

Illustrating the demand isn't an answer to how one would accomplish that without involving the market.

I didn't say you don't involve "the market". I said that the reigning principle should be the individual demand and not the market demand. I assumed what you were asking was how you determine the individual demand because no other reading made sense to me.

How is that different from 'if the deals aren't there'?

Listening to Feaster's press conference is very similar to Brian Burke's.

Good times.

In other news, he's really excited to get David Moss back.

I missed Burke presser, but can tell you Tor could have traded Schenn,Kulemin,MacArthur and Grabovski for 1st round picks.
