This trumps every other funny thing you've ever posted, Carlton.

Thank you. This joke would have never been possible without the writers of the angry birds movie, and every single person in Edmonton. They're the real heroes.

And i'm glad my post led to you being able to use it too :)

On the Gardiner front.  I'd rather we see Holl (and Oz) get some more reps and let Gards heal rather than have him keep trying to play through the back spasms and not really heal for the playoffs.

WE I WANT HOLL

Rielly - Dermott
Muzzin - Zaitsev (I actually think Muzzin might be unlocking Z powers)
Hainsey - Holl

That said, Holl probably gets the second game on the Island.

Imagine that was transformed into:

Rielly - Dermott
Muzzin - Zaitsev (I actually think Muzzin might be unlocking Z powers)
Gardiner - Hainsey/Holl

Might be fun.

Oh David, you poor little water pail.

LOL, the Oilers would be the team that said "no" on a Larsson for Nylander deal?  Man...

To be fair they do have an MVP invested into Larsson.

That doesn't sound great.  Or is this just Babcock being Babcock with his offhand comments and the media reading too much into what he said.

There are rumors it might be serious and he could require surgery which would mean he's done for the year.

Well then I expect to see Rosen, Lilypad get a shot along with Holl and Oz. Left side is still solid.

We should have traded him on Monday like I said and then this would be someone else's problem.

j/k

I know you're joking but you can't really trade damaged goods, well you could as long as the other team knows, but the return would have been a bag of pucks. I hope to see someone step up.

Yeah, I advocated trading him but since they didn't I of course want to see him do as well as possible.  I just hope this doesn't turn out to be the worst self-rental in the history of hockey.  :(

As I said in another thread, I think the Leafs decided to shut him down because the spasms weren't getting better. We'll need him come playoff time.

4 minutes in, 4-0 shots for the oilers.  Get on em boys.  They come out of the gate so slow.
