Opening Round:Winnipeg vs St.Louis

Would have liked to keep Bozak around but not at 5 million per. I wonder if we had to do it all over again, would we prefer Bozak @5 mill over Kadri right now?

No, without hesitation, no.

You're not in trouble until you lose a game at home.
2-0 Blues lead going back to St. Louis.
Jets: meet trouble.

That's an interesting thing to bring up since Bozak as 3C last season had 43 points in 81 games and everyone seemed pretty happy with him in that role but Kadri puts up 44 points in 73 games and some people are literally asking "why he's on the team".
Was curious to see what others thought, that's why I brought it up. I think Kadri is just fine and the perfect 3rd line centre for us. I think the only advantage Bozak would have are shootouts.

That shootout skill will be critical for the playo-- hmm? Oh.

Bozak's only nominal benefit is his handedness relative to the other Leaf centres. He is otherwise older, more expensive, and less talented. If he were a Selke-calibre centre with 40-50 pts, then I'd bite.

I guess he's got the advantage of not getting suspended at the worst time every year too.

I find no flaw in that argument.

Blues score 3 in the 3rd and last one with 15 seconds left to get the win. Bozak assisted on the winner. Blues up 3-2 going home.

I expect St.Louis to close out the series at home.  Don?t have much faith in the Jets right now.  It?s all up to Winnipeg.

Blues up 3 - 0 with 14 to go in the 3rd. Schwartz has all 3 for the Blues who are dominating. Shots are 32-11. Jets a def no show.

Like 3 years ago the Hockey News predicted the Jets would win the Cup this year.  That was ridiculous then, and it's ridiculous+ now.

Maybe they meant the Leafs
