Poor Reimer must feel like he's playing for last year's leaf team tonight.

That was a bad giveaway but man, I don't think Reimer's got much to say about that one.

So does Reimer come out for the third? My bet is yes, but the hook if one more goes in

Andersen really is proving to be full value.

During the bad start he was quoted as saying "I know I can do this job."
He was right.

It's funny, I'm by no means a goaltending expert, but in watching him I thought he has some of the worst rebound control I've ever seen in the NHL. I'm starting to think that his method of playing goal is simply to block the puck and deflect it away, and not try to control it.

Truly, if Babcock doesn't want to try Marner with Matthews/Nylander with a 4-g lead -- and I can see why -- then why not Soshnikov?  Or, tonight, Brown?

These weak passes or clear outs out of their zone are purely horrible. Can't believe how much trouble we have getting out of our own end. Give the puck away way too much and not just tonight.

Hunlak is so bad.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if Corrincin didn't get another look after this one.

Basically every time we are hemmed in our zone, it's Hunlak. When they get a chance to switch off to Corsi-gods Cardiner, it's two passes and out with zero chances against.

ChI'll out. Enjoy it. It's 5-1
