I don't think he dove but if he did, it worked. The refs shouldn't have blown it dead tho, the Leafs had the puck.Downtown Connor Brown said:So...was that a dive by Subban in the third? He looks totally fine now. Didn't even miss a shift.
From time to time there is no reason to not throw an extra shift to matthews. I just don't like it being with Komarov as one of the wingers. He has no offence.caveman said:Then you are talking about playing 3 lines..

He's the team's MVP this year, hands down.

Agreed and by some distance too.

Matthews' goals per game this season is 4th in the league, which is a pretty impressive accomplishment. I agree I'd give Andersen the nod there but Mats is right behind him still to me.

Roman Josi was also drafted with a pick (38th in 2008) that had actually originally belonged to the Leafs. The Leafs sent that pick to Arizona in the Yanic Perreault trade, and Arizona later sent the pick to Nashville, who selected Josi.
Fortunately, Perreault had 5 points in 17 games for the Leafs, so it all worked out.Frank E said:Heroic Shrimp said:herman said:https://twitter.com/50_MissionCap/status/961332872538828800

God I hate these stories...
The Weber pick was never the Leafs though. If Nashville received that for the belfour signing that was just a new pick the league created not the Leafs pick they had to give up for signing him.Heroic Shrimp said:herman said:https://twitter.com/50_MissionCap/status/961332872538828800
