Give the refs credit, this is the way a game should be called.
That's how you're supposed to do it. Call the extra crap early to set the standard and then let them play. Call the blatant shit only. How many gloves in the face have we seen after the McCabe penalty?

Who are all these prospects that we have over hyped in the past?

Biggs?

Tyler Biggs is younger than Tavares, he could still make a comeback!

I mean, I feel sorry for guys like that, they end up being the butt of lame jokes from randos like me just because the only one overhyping them was the GM.

And Knies is not coming out of this lineup.

He's been a little snake bit. He's generated enough chances to have more than one assist.
It'll even out. He'll improve as he gets used to the speed and their system, etc. Hopefully, they're playing long enough this spring for us to see it.

The only remotely negative thing I have seen out of him is he needs to be careful with his stick.  He's tall and trying to get around guys sometimes he is getting his stick up near the head a little too much and he's going to take accidental high sticking calls.  But I think that's just him getting used to having space at the NHL level.  I'm loving his game

Gotta keep forechecking the jersey straps off their defense. It will have lasting impact on the rest of the series. Just box out and wait to counter attack. Not much pressure to create offense aside from chaos to wear down Vasilevskiy.

Yup, keep the hammer down.

We either exhaust the existing guys down or force Hedman/Cernak to try and come back too soon and play banged up

Cernak won't have a choice if he's concussed. Hedman tho must be really hurting. Schenn said he expected him to go. I hope the Leafs will target him when he gets back, if he does. Be hard on them every shift.
