R1, G4: Lightning vs. Maple Leafs - Apr. 24th, 7:30pm - SN, Fan 590

Oh man Sammy bends but doesn't break.  Second game in a row where he hasn't been perfect but comes up huge in big moments.

This is why I won't walk away from hockey no matter how much playoff heartbreak.  It can be pretty darned exciting.

Same. A statement has been made. They can beat these guys and they?re starting to understand that.

This turned into an ok game.  Tampa doiminated the first and had some stretches in the second where they made the Leafs look bad but it wasn't nearly the same Game 3 performance.

This is a huge opportunity now but regardless of result we have home ice back and the Leafs keep showing they can make the god bleed

Dear Hockey Gods,

I don't exactly really totally believe you ARE some kind of true Gods but if you can overlook that bit of skepticism and are so inclined I would be very much obliged to have you anoint Auston Matthews for the OT winner that kicks-starts him to a Conn.

Please?

Yep all you can ask from a fan standpoint is a good effort. Just mind boggling the complete turnaround.
