Came here to give a go leafs go. Also, great job as always CtB.

Just win, eh? I'm not feeling nearly as confident as I should being up 3-1 which just speaks to our recent history, doesn't it? Kind of the atonement for all those years of having zero doubt the Buds would destroy the Sens in the playoffs.

This year feels different, but until they actually do it, I'm just kind of waiting to be hurt again.

Go leafs go. Drop the freakin' hammer.

x2. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I still think this is going 7 games. I would be thrilled to be wrong.

GLG!

My confidence sways. It's down because of how poorly they played in Games 3 and 4 despite the wins, and it's boosted because of how well they played in Game 2, but now I'm thinking since they're back home, we'll have another Game 2 experience!

Go Leafs go!

Nothing new to say.  If they can't win this series with 3 chances, 2 of them at home, then I will be officially in the camp of Keep the Core Together just because the winter is long and they play the most entertaining hockey of any Leafs team since Sundin.  I'll just enjoy the fun times in the regular season and write off the playoffs.

That said,

MONKEY BEGONE

Wait, we're on to a different metaphor, right?

FLIP THE CHIMP

I've been all over the place on this game.
Two good hockey teams. Many possible outcomes.
Hopefully, it is a good memory for Leafs fans.
I think they deserve it more than their team.

We have nothing to worry about. I'll be watching the game in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Since I came to Eastern Europe for some vacation time with my brother, the Leafs are 3-0 in playoff games. If they win tonight, I will be starting a gofundme so that I can stay here for an additional month or so (not to mention to cover the cost of a divorce lawyer).

Just find yourself a nice Bulgarian hottie.

Anyone know when the actual puck drop should be? I want to try to time my break at work to see the start of the game?

Typically it?s around 7:07, so, aim for that, I guess?

My brother is saying he heard on overdrive that Bunting is playing? He's not playing right?

False alarm my brother mis-heard. I'm not surprised lol

I hope bunting does get paid somewhere. He's been an terrific player for Toronto on a minuscule contract, and deserves a bump. I feel badly for him about how the fanbase narrative has cast him, especially as a local kid.

From the fringes of the NHL, he joins a top 6 with Matthews, Marner, Tavares & Nylander.
There has to be some trepidation about whether you'll measure up to that talent.
To his credit, he said to himself "I know my game, what works for me and what got me here. That's what I'm going to do" And then, he did it. .6ppg & tops in the NHL for drawing penalties.
That's a pretty good story. He's earned a raise and he'll get it.
