Won't be any mystery tonight as to whether Bozak plays or not.  He didn't make the trip. Wasn't close for game 6 even though he took warmup.

Well, that's that.  If the Leafs lose tonight have we seen Bozak's last game as a Leaf?

If Joe Colbourne has anything to say about it we have.

I don't even think it has anything to do with Colborne but more about what Bozak wants in his contract demands.

I was alluding to the possibility that Joe plays so well, retains a roster spot and Bozak becomes expendable so they just trade him....

Its it either re-sign him or he leaves as a UFA.

Away he goes then - I'd prefer to save the money for the pay raise Kessel and others are going to want in the coming years.

Surprised he didn't go just to be with the team. They trying to save money on flights and hotels??

Resting him up at home for the series where the Leafs are the home team against the Rangers.  ;)

he's getting ready for game one against the rangers :)

Fresher legs and momentum lead us past the surly Bruins.
Leafs win 3-2.
Look for Boston to try to shake Reimer up by giving a lot of incidental contact.  Will the refs look the other way in Game 7?

Works both ways and Rask has been known to "lose it" in games.

Well, I've watched three games in my living room, three wins. Three games in my basement, three losses. So, living room it is.

I also will be drinking Crown Royal tonight (3-0 when I do!) and wearing the same Helloween t-shirt under my Leafs jersey (3-0 when I do!).

I've done all I can.

EDIT: I should mention, I have a good feeling about this game. I think Grabovski FINALLY breaks through with a goal and either Lupul or JVR come up large. Reimer is shaky early, but crazy good late.

3-2 Leafs. Just please don't do it in OT.

If hockey gods do exist, there is no way they would subject fans to an unwatchable Bruins-Rangers series.

Don't do it in OT?  Wouldn't that be the best possible way to win?  Look at my avatar..remember the moment.

Channeling good vibes

I remember that moment.:.and it felt exhilarating!  :)

Yep, the goal, the shot of the Leafs bench and the squirting of the water bottle...ah the memories.  I want new memories starting tonight.

The on ice interview after the goal was the best!

You're a good man for doing your part.

I've gone the opposite way. Used to do the superstitious thing with same shirt, seat etc until I realized it made no difference at all for 35 years or however long I've watched the Leafs.  For this series I've done nothing consistently game to game. Working so far! Maybe this is a new superstition?

I'm wearing the same gym shorts I've worn since game 5. I will also continue to bash the Leafs and call this endeavour utterly hopeless, as that seems to be working as well.

I've gone back and forth with game 7. Part of me thinks Leafs can win and the other part says they blow it tonight.

That's because a W or an L are about equally likely.

As for superstitions ... they're good fun but completely meaningless of course.  As are jinxes.  If Reimer is pitching a 1-0 SO early in the 3rd, I'll predict that he finishes it out just to prove the point.

Honestly, the way I feel about it is that they have set us up nicely for devastating heart break. I was mentally prepared for this series to be over two games ago. Now I just don't know what to think.

Obviously I want them to win, and I know the only thing you can do is watch and see what happens, but after the last two games I'm not ready for this playoff run to be over.

Same. Friday night I was ready to end the season and not be disappointed. Now I want the series win but I'm trying to keep perspective that it probably won't happen so I won't be upset tonight. The Leafs don't make anything easy.
