I would look at all 3 going. Dont give a crap what they bring during the regular season. Seen this far too often. Try and get some help thru a Matthews trade and use the money for the other two to maybe sign some immediate help as well. Blow this shit up I said they might miss the playoffs sooner than later. Sad part if we suck we don’t have any picks to maybe get a stud.

I don't see how this team isn't drastically worse next year...and this is in the era of Montreal coming fast, Ottawa getting their first playoff taste. I could honestly see this team missing the playoff next year...and I'm ok with that to start sorting this out

I think you can look at bringing back Tavares if he signs a real team friendly deal. Marner though, at $13 million...I'd rather take my chances going in another direction. Maybe having to scrap to just make the playoffs would be good for the team. I don't know at this point.

This series completely turned around in game 3, as was said above. It went from Leafs dominance to complete submission. They were up 3-1 in game 3. Since that time, they have been outscored 17-5 (up to 5-1 tonight) and haven't scored more than two goals, just like in 2022. The Leafs offence and puck luck simply disappeared. Florida seems to have adapted and the Leafs fell back into their old habits. It cost them.
 
They need to learn to play dirty, that's all there is to it. I'm not happy about that, but it's just reality. Today was a perfect example, let them play = Leafs get brutalized.

This is it. They play hockey, other teams play dirty and we lose. The NHL clearly wants nothing to do with power plays in games that matter, so embrace it. Cheat and win.
 
Well, I just want to say hat Mitch Marner has been a helluva player to watch. He can't seem to get it done when it matters most but not for like of trying.
