-Igor Shesterkin (20-20-2, 2.93 GAA, .906 Sv%) will likely start for the Rangers
-Star defenceman Adam Fox was recently placed on the IR. That will make New York's playoff push, currently 2 points behind Columbus for the final wild card position, a lot more difficult
-JT Miller has 5 goals and 9 points in 8 games since being acquired by the Rangers. Miller missed practice on Thursday with an illness so his status for this game is in doubt

-Joseph Woll (20-11-0, 2.63 GAA, .910 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-Toronto is expected to be without Chris Tanev for at least a little bit, but not as long as originally feared. Phillipe Myers will step back into the line-up
-Max Pacioretty, who hasn't played since tweaking something at one of the first practices following the 4 Nations break, is expected to be cleared to play and best guess is he would take Steeves' spot in the line-up if that's the case

Very true, they were terrible in BOS and somehow won that game. The standings look good but the goal differential is not great. I suppose winning close games is playoff prep, right?
 
Nothing like adjusting your lineup for the opposition instead of dictating the play. You make Rempe irrelevant by outskating him, not by playing Reaves 5 minutes. Reaves has like a 1/8 chance of doing something suspendable tonight and Reaves will have nothing to do with changing those odds
 
Do we want to see a Reaves VS Rempe fight? I enjoy a scrap but prefer an organic fight as opposed to a staged one. Show us you can play some hockey and not just throw fists in meaningless scrap.
 
Noticed they put the lyrics to the American anthem up on the screens in MSG. Guess the fans aren't too bright?
