Trade Polak for this Murray dude.

Polak is the last thing the Pens need and Murray was the AHL rookie and goaltender of the year last year. Obviously not going to happen.

The Pens really need someone like Gardiner or even a Gunnarsson type. I agreed with Millen last night: the Pens' major weakness is the transition game from the defense. The forwards are often ready to break out but the defense (other than Letang) just aren't skilled enough to get the puck to them in the right position.

I feel like what you meant to say is that Polak is a terrific defenseman who would be an excellent addition to a team looking to make some playoff noise and can fill any role superbly.

You are correct. Please excuse me, English is only my 4th language after gibberish, gobblety-gook, and my mother tongue, mumbles.

Of course, Polak is a warrior that can crush an opponent's will to win through his body-checking and strong jawline. He'd be a welcome addition to any team.

they should take the conditions off their 1st rounder from this year and include their 2nd rounder next year . . .

Is that even possible?

I look at the Pens situation, and I don't think the Leafs are much of a trade partner here as they're up pretty hard against the cap there.

Of course it is. The Leafs would really be trading the conditional pick back to Pittsburgh (and the Pens' 2nd rounder from this year, I would imagine would have to be included for it to work, since it's included in the conditions for this year), who would send the pick right back to the Leafs, just without the conditions.

Sure. You'd just have to word it precisely. Basically, you'd be trading him for a conditional first round pick(the condition being if the Pens don't make the playoffs).

Hell of a performance by Bernie last night... even Crosby had to put it under the bar after delaying up to the dot. Stoned him five-hole in the shootout too. I think he's channeling his inner Nelson Mandela.

... lol Roman Polak's jawline. Many Europeans flee at the mere sight of it.

Thank God Nik got you straightened out on that.
