The TSN "B team" for broadcasts is still a mile better than anything SN is able to put in the booth or between the benches. Noodles is really good...nearly as good as Ray.

Yup. Was meaning to post the exact same thing.

Buffalo players puts his stick in Tavares waist and he gets a penalty called.  Meanwhile Hyman is hit into the boards seconds earlier

That?s a set play

That?s an embarrassing penalty call that sort of works in the Leafs favour anyway because starting the period on the PP sucks

Yes he is.  I forgot when in that period but he broke down a complex play that just happened and got right to the heart of it.

Imma slingshot it nope toe drag deke beat goalie and second goalie under the bar 8)

Counting that crossbar, Matthews essentially had a hat trick that period. Almost fed a sweet tip-in for Tavares on the PP too.

That was a pretty goal by Matthews. But less showy, but Nylander actually made a very, very high skill play in setting it up. You'll see him rush the puck over the blueline as part of a stickhandling move to match the speed of the other winger entering the zone -he stays onside and keeps high momentum to take the two defencemen deep, leaving Matthews wide open and a clear lane.

Ray is the best between the benches, Noodles is a good 2nd. Gord or CC best colour. Millen is flat out horrible. Bartlett isn't too bad but TSN's crew kicks ass over SN
