Sabres @ Leafs - Mar. 2nd, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Marner looking pass on an empty netter is peak Marner, and it goes in anyway. Hyman with the heads up no touch.

Can?t believe I missed this earlier.

I was wondering why Marner doubled over a bit and thought he got slashed in the hands with no call. It was worse.

Have to say the Sabres got a steal in Dahlin. He looks like I hope Lilypad and Sandin turn out half as good.

OK, Bullfrog, our mission is clear.

I'm sorry I let you down. I had a date night with my wife. I'll make sure to be there with my hammies nice and warmed up for next game.

Sorry for a caveman response, but if this isn't relevant for DOPS, then at least should be fair game for a free retaliatory punch in the face. A goalie did this once to me 15 years ago, and it still makes me angry to this day.

LotR on ice!

Petan, centering Ennis and and offseason acquisition Nathan Gerbe.

This would be the line to put on the ice when the Leafs are a little short. They'd likely be overlooked.

Umm. Dahlin was a first overall pick.  They typically have more potential than your mid, late first rounder.

No problem, just like on the ice we'll take a number.

I use to do it all the time when I played but not to that extent. I'd put my stick between his legs and just tug a little. Let him know that it could be a lot worse. They usually got the message.

Lol yeah a bit odd to call him a "steal" when he was projected to be a franchise defenseman that all teams wanted going into the draft.

I meant it in the sense that Sabres should never ever be allowed a 1st pick, ever for any reason, its Buffalo for gods sake. so he is a steal and I stand by these words ;)
