Sabres vs. Leafs - Mar. 14th, 7:00pm - SN

So, is the narrative that Matthews will be offended that nobody fought Gudas and therefore will want out?

Jets won over the Avs! Rangers beat the Avs! (Surprised by both of those)

I want Buffalo to beat Toronto in regulation.

Montreal to beat the Sharks in regulation.

Kraken to beat the Canucks.

I'd like to see Knies drop a bit of weight over the summer to try to get back some of his quickness. He's tagged as a power forward but I think he'll be better served playing a big lighter.
Honestly, he seemed to be physically imposing last year without the weight. I think a speedy guy with some size is more valuable than a slower body. Knies doesn't strike me as a strictly net front presence guy anyway.

100%.

I mean it certainly wasn't a good look. Mind you, I think the media is going to try and run him out of town for the fun stories they can generate at this point.

Want the Sharks to keep winning and make the playoffs. Would laugh if Edm missed the playoffs. Sharks are 5pts behind with 4 games in hand.

The other thing on Knies...he's up to 55 points in 64 games. That's 70 point pace over 82 games. Obviously I think we were hoping for a bit more of a step up, but given he has dealt with injuries for a big chunk of the year...its mostly the goal scoring that dried up. Some of that is not having Marner to spoon feed him, but health will probably improve this.

Knies had a lot of speed until he got hurt. He's fine. We seem to forget how good he was early on this year.
