MotM ... Mikheyev or Brodie?

Or Nylander?
No ..I don't think he's actually played well tonight. Not up to his standards.

He looked conditioning slow.  There was a play in the third where Ottawa turned it over and the Leafs had a chance at an odd man rush but Willy was slow coming back out of the offensive zone.

He did look nimble on his breakaway goal though.

Yup remember that play as well..I think he's only skated 1 day so no biggie for me.

That was pretty much as good of a game as you could get.  Sandin looked good.  Mikheyev looked good and those were the guys with longer layoffs.

Yeah I thought Nylander was a bit sluggish overall. Getting two goals in garbage time is nice for the year end stats but he has had better 0-goal games.

Marner on PP1 is still like tying two hands behind your back, unless he truly embraces chaos hockey instead of finessing silk threads with every play. He is a magical problem solver by instinct/training but given time and space he overthinks it.

Nice to have the 5th best record in the league and currently will start on the road in the playoffs!

Even better the team the leafs don?t play the team they?re in direct competition with - the panthers - until March 27th. For the first time!

I?m not sure what the schedule is like for other teams but the leafs inter divisional schedule is ridiculous. If you?re going to make the division so integral to playoff seating then schedule the damn games properly.
