Wow what a shot by Jarnkrok

I see him up the lineup over Kerfoot in the playoffs.  Just because he can do that thing.
He can def play in the top 6. I do hope at some point Bunting gets his game together and gets back there.

Gotta give the refs credit. That was a great no call. Stutzle goes down so easy. He's earned that reputation.

I take it back. He didn't go down on his own. His team-mate tripped him.

How stupid are some of these guys in this league. MacLean u were a ref no clue either. Showing you the clip of the Habs, LV game where the 2 guys engage in a fight. Who's the instigator and there is a split consensus. Clean hit but the Hab D man. Martinez goes after him after the hit and they both drop the gloves. Can't figure out who's the instigator. 100% Martinez he went after Kovacevek. It was a clean hit. Marek lol Habs defensemen dropped his gloves first ya because he knew Martinez was going after him.

I don't think it was cut and dry. What's being discussed in the GM meetings is clean hits and players getting jumped. This did not occur here in the example.

Not how I interpreted it. Marek said there was a split consensus on that particular play. Even Maclean had it wrong. Hab guy hits the LV player clean. Martinez goes towards Kovacevek with full intention to address the hit. Neither had the puck. Hab player knew Martinez was either coming to address the hit or at minimum voice something to him. Kovacevek drops the gloves because he figured Martinez wanted to go. Martinez instigated it in my opinion.

"voicing something to him" is not a penalty. If Kovacevek didn't want to fight, all he had to do was turn away. It not a good example of what they're trying to address, and Mclean and Marek are perfectly correct to say there's a question of interpretation.

Murray's been excellent.  Like you said GT, it's the most important marker in this game.

No I'm not saying that would be a penalty. Martinez went after him after the clean hit. No need for it and that's what the debate is. Happens more now players going after an opponent after a clean hit. To me that's your instigator. If Martinez accepts the clean hit and stays back playing his position that fight doesn't occur. plain and simple.
