I think they are trying to lock down the defensive zone, and they just can't play offense and defense in the same game. They can do one or the other in a game, but not both.

They are missing wide open nets now. Completely snake bitten and showing a real lack of confidence offensively. All of this has happened since Hiller shut it down up 4-2 against Buffalo.
