Stanley Cup Final: Boston vs. St. Louis

lmao yeah going on the white supremacist program will definitely help improve your image. Go Blues!

BREAKING: Commissioner Gary Bettman tweeted this afternoon that the National Hockey League has indefinitely suspended Nazem Kadri until people stop whining about the Boston Bruins/Barstool Sports promotion. #itshisfault

Jesus, I decide to watch for the first time in the finals and the Blues deliver a crapfest of a period.  ::)

Lol has anyone EVER heard HNIC go on and on about how "that's a penalty all day long" when a non-call results in a goal against the Leafs? Amazing.

Gotta give Binnington credit, as soon as I dissed him he started outplaying Rask.

STL has them on the verge ... and G6 at home ... kind of like another team we all know.  :P

Freely admit as much as I enjoyed Boston losing I enjoyed it even more when reffing cost them a goal and a game.

HNIC is so Boston biased its sickening. They were even that way agaunst the Leafs. As for tge penalty but I dont give a crap. There were some horrible calls against the Blues and a lot of non calls against the Bruins. In the words of Owen Nolan, boo f'n who.
Cmon Blues end this Sunday.

Lol, that's the "controversial" non-call?  He very obviously dove to make it look worse.  It's entirely possible that's why it wasn't called.  Refs don't like that kind of nonsense.

He pretty clearly set himself up to induce contact and then dive/flop. Not saying it wasn't a penalty, but when Boston's entire modus operandi is taking cheap shots at the other team and diving to induce calls, you have to think/hope refs get tired of it.

Marchand slew-footed a St Louis player like two shifts later without a call but nobody will talk about that because hockey analysis is apparently only capable of examining events in complete isolation from the larger context.

Yup. Especially if there was a resultant goal.

Yeah, I feel so bad for Boston for a call not going their way...

Yup. If only they occasionally had the refs call things in their favour, it might be okay. But, we all know, that never happens...

Examining the incident alone, the non-call was truly horrific. Directly led to the GWG in game 5 of a tied Stanley cup final. It's not Brett Hull foot in the crease bad but it's bad.

Examining the tripping non-call in a larger context, the bicycle kick with the right leg says to the ref: "see, see, look at this trip!". They... don't like that.
It was still 3 on 3 after that and Boston was farting around on D.
Also, Bruins kvetching about a non-call is in light of their style being to take liberties with whatever they can get away and draw retaliation. They're masters at it. So... a little karma.
Therefore, I'm going to chip in with some salt on this one :) Bozie strikes again in the playoffs!
Also, Cam Neely has really let himself go.
Also, Hyman on OverDrive promoting his Shick razor contract was like: "yeah, we... don't like those guys. Rooting for Bozie."
