At practice yesterday that's what they used.

Stickytape said:There was hardly even any discussion; even the article linked above decisively calls it "accidental". If anything, all I have seen is people gushing about what a super nice guy Ovie was for going over to apologize to Komarov after the game. Somehow he's coming out of this smelling like roses.
Do we see Winnik move back up to the 2nd line, or Lupul? I've been eager to see Lupul-Kadri-Santorelli...

I have a hard time believing there is such a thing as accidentally blindsiding someone when you're traveling forward like Ovechkin was, especially when there were no sudden changes in direction. In real time, it looked like he intended to 'accidentally' clip the shoulder and caught some of Komarov's head on the follow through.

Well the big thing for me would be that Komarov hit a guy with the puck. When Ovechkin hit Komarov a Capital had clear possession of the puck 40 feet away.
Potvin29 said:Well that's why hitting from behind is a penalty, you're not supposed to be hit from behind and if you can't see the player coming I don't see the material difference. In both instances you're not expecting to be hit because it's from behind.

I brought my towel. Dallas really plays like last year Leafs.
