Hyman and Nylander instantly add danger to the lines they just joined.

I appreciate Keefe trying to make a superline but I don't think Nylander is as effective on the left wing. Also the way Hyman is playing this year he should be up with Matthews and Marner

Andersen's 5-hole vulnerability is a problem.  Then again, he's coming off a neck injury which may not still be fully healed.

What that has to do with his 5-hole, I have no idea.

I don?t think it?s Nylander being less effective, more like three puck hogs on the same line means no one is really in a position to succeed.

He has a harder time looking down?

I see no reason why Matthews can't do that couple of more times and singlehandedly lead his team to a richly undeserved victory.

Well, having chronic neck problems myself I can tell you it probably was the greatest single factor in preventing me from having a career in professional sporttzzzzzzzzzzzzzffffffffflllllll

He always seems a bit off after a longer lay off. Hopefully it's just one game rust

Leafs PR tweeted Matthews hit a new career high in goals. Will they continue to tweet that on each goal the rest of the year?

I hate to complain about reffing but I think they've tilted this Dallas' way a bit.  Seguin put his stick on Barrie's mitts during the 4 on 4 and it was every bit as flagrant (which is to say, not very) as what they called Marner for.

If Leafs can win this, we'll point to the Clifford fight as the TSN turning point, or the Sportsnet spice as the case may be

I find that whole narrative that the reason the Leafs got energized by the Clifford fight to be kind of ridiculous and tiresome.

If Clifford had baited Klingberg into a fight and they injured each other, there'd be an argument for it.
