Stars @ Leafs - Mar. 14th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

You can see Nylander being very cognizant of his defensive responsibility. When he cuts in for a shot, he peels off to support position, missing out on a couple of tasty rebounds tonight.

Gardiner just refuses to glass the puck, even when double teamed. Finds a little seam to touch it over to JvR for the break.

How did every Stars player on the ice not know that that pass was coming?

They say the same thing about Kucherov/Ovechkin/Stamkos/Laine on the PP and it still happens.

JvR is really good at shifting positions. He started screening and then faded open to a new lane when the defenders drew to front Marner. Good sell by Mitch does the trick.

Marner shot earlier on a similar chance.

Nylander has to pull the trigger there.

I thought so too but on the replay it looked like he didn't really have a shooting lane.  But still, when he's crossing the royal road like that I want to see him let it rip.

The point I'm trying to make is that I'd be a better PK coach than anyone in the league.

"Uh, yeah, cover the guy who scores all their goals. Someone pay me."
