The "Mr. T" Man of the Match Thread, 2013 edition

Interesting that Kulemin is getting a lot of love, when statistically he was the worst player on the team last night in terms of scoring chances for and against. Accounting for only 2 for and 9 against for a minus 7 differential, only the German came close with a -6 differential.

One laser shot has a lot of influence.

I'm disappointed I'm the only one who gave pnjunction an HM :)

I find it interesting that you can pick up a piece of paper and determine for the rest of us that Kulemin played that awful of a game.

I watched the entire game. Kulemin was a force out there. His goal helps, but he was a machine last night.

I suppose I could continue to just vote Kadri as the MotM or the HM but alas, his continual giving away of the puck in the neutral zone drives me up the f'n wall.

Or I could pick up the piece of paper after watching the entire game and find that it in large part confirms the impression I had from the game.

But you're right, you thought he had a good game, so the stats can frack off.

A few observations:

1.  Goaltending hasn't been nearly good enough.  At this point I would want to see both of these guys to have more than 2 game-winning MotM accolades.

2.  Kessel has been pretty disappointing to judge from the voting, and Grabs and Kulemin very disappointing.

3.  Defensemen get too little love in the votiing.  Thinking maybe they should get an extra 0.5 points for MotMs next year.

4.  McClement's value to the team goes completely unnoticed in this format.

5.  JvR is either a hero or invisible.

My opinion is that he had a good game. Yours is that he didn't.

This is a thread based on opinions right?

My point isn't that you can't have your own opinion. It's that you shouldn't come into a thread that's done purely in fun and tell people they're picking wrong. This isn't a political election where you're trying to sway voters. Nobody else is trying to sway the picks in their direction...why you've decided to is beyond me.
