Well said there.  Smith may not be an analytics fave but my eyeballs tell me he's all right on the kill.

I think Smith did very well on the 5 on 3 but in general I tend to think the Leafs have more success with more aggressive/quick penalty killers like Hyman and Komarov.

In general I agree but for tonight specifically I think Smith was just as good as those guys and made some great blocks.

Carrick gets my HM, he was involved offensively and got off a couple from the point.
 
Tempted to say Marner on the basis of his chances but it seems weird to go that way considering he could have put the Leafs back into it and didn't.
