Moving sucks!

A'men.

I have to add my agreement.

The best is those old style fridges that are made of real steel and are really heavy that you get to carry up a flight of stairs. You know those ones that feel like they are cutting into your hands while you use the side of your face mashed against it to get it up the stairs.

If there happens to be a landing in that stair case where you can't quite fit the fridge around and it gets stuck... Well that's just even more awesome.

Illness.

I'm tired of it. I've been sick for almost two weeks now. Started with a short stomach flu, then a bad cold, now a bad chest infection. Been on antibiotics for five days now. There's been some improvement, but not as much as I'd expect. Starting to wonder if it's a virus. chest and neck are in such pain (from coughing and hacking.)

I'm worn down mentally and physically.

On the plus side, I've lost a little bit of weight. lol

Maybe you need a different antibiotic.  Some antibiotics don't work on some people.  For example, Erythromycin is not effective on me but Amoxicilin is.  I notice a major difference by the next morning.  5 days seems long with little results.

You mean the ones you can hide and survive in during nuclear explosions?

I'm going to see the doctor again I think. I'm on Zithromax now (Mylan-Azithromycin). It worked for me last year. It's either that or I've got a virus.

If the coughing is keeping you up at night I would ask your Dr for some Vodaphon (sp?) or something similar. You need your sleep first & foremost....not that I'm an expert / Dr or anything just a suggestion

Ya, you should definitely go back.  Erythromycin used to work fine for me  but stopped a few year ago.  Somehow I built a resistance to it, so who knows, maybe that's whats happening.

That's not true. They're out there, there are just less of them, and they're harder to find.

So i finished my antibiotics yesterday. Feeling a touch better, but not where I should be. So I went to the walk-in clinic at my own clinic this time and they're pretty sure I've got pneumonia. I went for chest x-rays today but won't get result for a few days. In the meantime, I've got another 7 days' worth of zithromax at double the dosage + steroid/bronchial dilator inhalers.

Feeling not too bad other than I can't exert myself at all. Even playing with the kid for two minutes makes it so I can't breathe. A few more days and I should be fine I hope.

Wow, well good thing you went back.  Those prescriptions should kill any bacteria and will reduce the inflammation causing the cough...wouldn't be surprised if you're all better before the x-rays are back.

I'm still annoyed at whoever thought it was a good idea to have a ceremony when the Leafs where in first overall back towards the start of the season.  Talk about counting the chickens before the eggs had hatched...

Yep that was just an awful, awful idea.  Obviously the recent slide is what really killed the season, but that marked a turning point from the hot start to the struggle with mediocrity we saw in the middle of the season. Tapatalked

The TTC is an absolute disgrace. Far and away their service makes the best argument for drunk driving.

There was a ceremony?

Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles...Michael Bay

Yeah. I'm not a fan, but, he is working with one of Eastman and Laird (not sure which), so, I'm hoping maybe the reports aren't entirely accurate - like maybe the ooze is alien in origin (which I could live with) or something like that. I doubt it will be a great movie, because, I mean, Michael Bay, but, I'll wait to judge the alien thing until I see how it actually plays out.

I like to be 10-15 mins early for appts, which is good, but not so good when you think your appt is 30 mins earlier then it is, an extra 30 mins to kill, blah!
