I just realized he's a centre so could it be the end of the Goat at centre?

Possibly, but it wouldn't shock me to see Petan on the wing, either.
True. Dubas just said Moore is going to get a chance so maybe we get to see Moore, Petan and Ennis together?

He also said Justin Holl would get a chance

Well he can say what he wants, it's up to Babs who fills out the game sheet.

Another Oilers guy saying Edmonton asked about Brown. Yeah I'd bet they were likely trying to ditch one of their bad defencemen on us. No thanks.

I imagine they try again in the summer, but, unless Zaitsev is included as well, no thanks.

One way or the other though, Connor needs to go.  He's sucking up about $1.2M than he's worth.

Well it's up to Dubas who stands behind the bench.

Yup!

I don't think Babcock is getting fired (not by a long shot), but I do think Dubas is starting to flex his preferences a bit more now that most of the season has played out and they have some more evidence of what works and doesn't work in the league these days. He needs only point to Tampa Bay's 4 lines deep of committed speed and skill, regardless of size.

Honestly, I think the Leafs are on track to grow into the better team within a year or two. The Lightning are more seasoned with deeper playoff losses at the moment.

Oh I don't see Babs' job is in jeopardy but I agree, Dubas is flexing his muscle here. I think he will continue to take away Babs' toys moving forward.
