R.I.P. Patrick Stewart

Passes away at 86. Loved a lot of his work.

Never seen a single episode of Star Trek but I really like your tagline quote.

My youngest and I are watching all of the Star Trek series. We started with the original. Some of it was a little tough. At one point my son asked if it was just a series about Kirk aura farming. I have no idea what that means.

We are in the middle of the Next Generation now. While the show isn't perfect, and I am sure it comes off as campy or goofy to some, Patrick Stewart does a really good job in a lot of the episodes. He brings a certain amount of credibility to the scenes, just in the way that he delivers his lines.

They had a blast doing this scene. Gervais said he couldn't believe Patrick would do his show.
