1 NY Rangers vs 8 Ottawa Senators

Well i give Ottawa credit for even being in this. They were supposed to be no where this year.
Karlsson has made an impact. Just one guy!
And on defense to i'm impressed with this kid.

To bad Ottawa still has Baby Face Neil.  :P

Too little too late, but nice to see they showed a little back bone at the end.

The Rangers were as advertised.  They've got some of the best defense and goaltending in the league.  You could see Ottawa's game plan in sending a lot of pucks on net and going for rebounds, but the Rangers D cleared the crease better than the Sens crashed it.  It also wasn't a surprise how Ottawa lost the game, they're prone to defensive breakdowns, they handed the Rangers a number of golden opportunities.

Shake it off and go into game two, hopefully they can execute better.

I am by no means a Sens fan but watched last games as Boyle punched Karlson(sp) numerous times. If that happened to Kessel I would be more than happy to watch Orr jump and pound the person doing it!!!  If the officials won't deal with this crap against stars the players will.

I'm no Sens fan either, but the Rangers could have had at least two more penalties in addition to that 5 minute major. There is letting them play and just making things ridiculous. That was ridiculous.

Well the sens tied the game.

I believe the Canucks lost the SC last year when Marchant gave Sedin 5 or 6 jabs with no reply by any Canuck. If you don't take a stand for your stars they will not star for you!!

It's the same in the Pitt Philly series.  The crap after play and getting in face of players is brutal. If the games were officiated like regular season Flyers would have been a man short for whole game.
