By the way, does the ACC still have Burkie's Dog House... or did that get fired, too?

Nik Gida said:Over the last three seasons, Sid Crosby has played in 79 regular season games. In those games he's got 47 goals, 80 assists and is a +46 while winning around 54% of his face-offs.
I think that if he'd been healthy over that span we'd be talking about him in the same way basketball fans talk about Lebron James and wondering if voter fatigue is the only reason he wouldn't be winning a 4th straight Hart.

It's still there, only now the Dogs don't tell you how good they're going to be.

Nik Gida said:If you're a fan of officiating incompetence I'd recommend getting to see Matt Duchene's goal from the Avs game today against the Predators. He was about ten feet offside, so much so that it almost looked like the defenders gave up on the play because they thought they'd hear the whistle.
It strikes me as bizarre that the league thinks it's ok to review the precise placement of a stick or a skate to see if a goal counts but not on a blatant, ridiculous miscall like that.
