2013 Toronto Blue Jays Thread

Yeah, the offense showed up but the pitching was sketchy - 6 runs off Buehrle in 5 and a third - the "inning eater" has the shortest outing off all the starters so far.

Good thing Myers was even worse!

And good thing Oliver got out of that bases loaded 2-out jam in the 8th...

Tomorrow is a must win (for the fans at the game that will be booing Farrell, that is!) ;D

Bonifastio gets a double on a single up the middle.

In all honesty....that was the play of the game. I have been watching baseball for 25+ years and dont recall seeing that...ever.  Wow!

In my fantasy baseball pool, I need Bonifacio to get 1 more game at 2B for eligibility there. Two errors tonight. God, I hope he's still there tomorrow.  :(

Seems like the opposing teams' BABIP must be really high so far this season against the Jays.

Coming into tonight it was .314 against a league average of .274.

Coming into tonight it was .314 against a league average of .274. So some bad luck and some bad defense probably.

I knew someone would find that - thanks! Somewhat validates how it seems, although I guess not that bad.

Have they had a hit yet this season with a RISP?  Not tonight I know.

EDIT: And why not have Davis steal 3rd?

In case he gets caught?

I'd feel more confident in him stealing 3rd than any of those guys coming through with a hit, tbh.

Bailey throws 96 and they were holding him close. With less than 2 outs, it's just bad baseball.
