2013 Toronto Blue Jays Thread

I have a pair of great tickets - 10 rows right behind home plate. I have never sat in a seat that good and never been to an opening day. This will be great.

But, as an aside, I am hearing what people are paying to get a pair of tickets and I cannot believe what my pair must be worth.... but I have no plans to sell them. In fact I am heading out for Toronto soon.

So the over/under on the Jays right now is apparently 86.5 wins. I like the over personally, as I see them winning 87-89 games.

bet365.com has 89.5 with equal payouts for over and under.

Having won no more than 88 games in a season since the World Series years, not exceeding that would be a huge disappointment in my eyes.  I'll say they win 91 games.

I think you should be careful about expecting that kind of a jump in just one year. Even with the talent they brought in sometimes these things take a little while to gel.

Good to see the first Blue Jays rally of 2013 ending with Adam Lind coming up small in the clutch. Novelty!

JPA really needs to learn to catch the knuckleball if he's going to be behind the plate for any of Dickey's future starts.

4-1 Cleveland through 5 and Dickey is winding down.  Not looking good for the home opener.

Not too surprised at the result - I figured they would lose this one. Must have been that ceremony. :)

Not too happy with Lind, though. Gibby is going to have to have a short leash if he is going to suck like that. I was also curious that with all the talk about speed, Reyes didn't try to steal when he walked in the 1st - I figured they would want to put an exclamation point on all that speed.

Oh well. 161 more to go.
