Oh look...yet another flare that is within reach of the Royals.  Nothing seems to find a hole against them.

That was poor from Donaldson, not something that's been said a lot this year.

3-0 swing = not good.

3-0 swing = not good when it doesn't work. Players like Donaldson and Bautista generally have the green light considering chances are they're getting a fastball right up the middle.

That's great and all but they need baserunners. I don't care who is at bat because they have all been useless this series.

I'm concerned at this point that Gibbons is going to find a way to pull Estrada off a single/walk.

I was thinking that too, at the same time, I don't want him giving Estrada the rope he gave Price and Dickey when they got in trouble.

Estrada through 6 innings. We don't have Cecil so honestly I don't really see Sanchez as an improvement against the lefties.

Just spitballing when Volquez is dominating the Jays hitters for a 2nd game.  Got busted for a prohibited substance in 2010.  He throws a 94-95MPH fastball all year (highest it has been since 2010) and is now hitting 97 and touched 98 MPH a few times.  That hairline though.

Gibbons has Price up in the bullpen....mistake.

Wow.  Bases loaded with nobody out.  Revere (walk).  Donaldson (HBP).  Bautista (11 pitch walk).

I was wondering about this when Volquez hit 98 several times early on.

Perhaps he was taking something off to save his arm in the regular season?
