GO RAPTORS!

Hot diggity. Waited a long time for this.

Settle down. I've never seen you this excited.

That last 2 minutes, that took like 20 to play out, was super stressful.

I gotta admit it, I tuned the Raptors out for a long time,  didn't watch a regular season game for three years.  This past couple of series showed me the mettle of this team, I thought the Bucks were going to roll over them, but then they showed us what they are really made of.

Thanks God they made the trade that got rid of DeRozen and brought in superman Leonard.
I am back on the bandwagon.

Well done with the twitter posts from the street hockeyfan1! Love those! Congrats Raptors! Back when they kept running into LeBron I lost interest, but like many others I've have taken notice that something special is been brewing with this team! I see a lot of parallels with the Blue Jays when they threatened.

Here's another depth shot of Jurassic Park. Imagine if/when the Leafs go deep :D

That's part of the reason I can't stand basketball, that last minute was like a half hour. But hey I'll bandwagon for the finals with the best of them.

I watched the last 7.9 seconds, which is the most bball I've watched in like.... ever.  But, I am now officially a super fan.

Oh yeah I was already telling my buddy who is a huge Raptors fan exactly what the team needs to do to win. He wasn't impressed

Few can lay claim the title "Superfan". Nav Batia hasn't missed a game in 24 years. I'd say that qualifies ;D

Last time a Toronto team made a NHL/NBA/MLB Finals: 1993 Toronto Blue Jays.

If it wasn't for Babcock... the ACC would be hosting two finals right now. I kid, but it's not too much of stretch to imagine what could have happened had the Leafs got past Boston. Could you imagine the ACC hosting NHL and NBA finals at the same time? The city would be going wild.

That would have been something.  🙂

Steph remembers Toronto...

?I lived here for a couple of years, went to school out here,? Curry told reporters. ?My wife Ayesha grew up in Markham, right down the street.?

?So a lot of family history, and that side of the family still lives here,? he said. ?I look forward to coming back here every regular season, and now to be in the NBA Finals it?s something I?ve even been looking forward to if they ever made it. So it?s here and I?m going to enjoy it.?

Ah....

Bruce Jenkins, sports columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, marvelled at the city?s diversity.

?A walk along Toronto?s main drag, Yonge Street, is to be transported into a truly international landscape,? Jenkins wrote. ?Branching out, visitors might find themselves in Chinatown, Greektown, Little Poland, Little Italy, Little India. The influence of basketball, in certain pockets of town, is striking to behold.

Jurassic Park, where ticket-less fans go to watch the Raptors on the big screen outside Scotiabank Arena, also got some praise.

?There isn?t a more joyous public setting in the sporting universe,? Jenkins wrote.
