Only thing I can think of ...Look at his feet. Chabot was going around the net and decided he'd turn back towards Konecny. A lot of times when the player puts himself at risk, it isn't called. Doesn't make it right or justified and probably should've been a penalty.OldTimeHockey said:Can someone explain why this is not a suspension? Chabot was in a helpless position with no hope of defending himself. Konecny is an idiot

True but if Chabot keeps going around the net, it's probably not on the numbers.OldTimeHockey said:Guilt Trip said:Only thing I can think of ...Look at his feet. I looked at that. The play is so bang-bang that Konecny was taking him out from behind regardless of the direction Chabot decided to go.

But I've always said the NHL seems to basically spin a wheel when it comes to whether boarding is a 2 minute minor, 5 minute major, and/or a suspension. So I have no idea which one of those it should have been but it's wild that went completely unpenalized.

Is this good?

Quite frankly I think the Leafs probably win each of their previous 3 playoff series' if Keefe were a little more open to making adjustments and combating the different tactics and playing styles of his opponent. This living and dying by unlimited 1st line minutes and spreading the team thin by loading up said line when that doesn't work just, well, doesn't work.
