Reimer and Sparks are 10-5-3, .933 SV%.
He's got another year on his deal of $4.15m as well...ugh.

Arn said:So when you compare the goalies for whom the Leafs have traded the last few years
Toskala, Raycroft, Bernier
Against those who have come through the system
Reimer, Rask, Sparks
Which would you rather have had?
Potvin29 said:Still plenty of time for him to turn it around, but it's been ugly for going on 50 or so games now. I mean...you can even potentially trace it back to that long goal against vs. Arizona.

I think they're going to have trouble continuing to throw him in there, having him fumble, and then preaching accountability and all that.

He's not going to fix his game sitting on the bench, and with his contract situation the team desperately needs him to figure this out. As much as the team wants to win, they have to know leapfrogging 7 other teams in the playoff race at this point is basically impossible.
