It might have been during the 2nd intermission. I'm not sure. They were talking about Bolland coming back to practice soon and then they showed a clip of a Leaf skating alone.

Yeah you're right it was Bolland. Certainly didn't look comfortable at all though.

Apparently the skate boot was rubbing up against his incision, so that's why he was skating rather gingerly.

McLaren was placed on injured reserve today, which is a little out of nowhere as nobody has reported an injury for him. Clarkson also missed practice today, although no reason has been given yet.

jonasTSN1050: Clarkson dealing with a bursa sack issue in his elbow. The same injury sidelined Colton Orr for two and a half weeks last month.

Call me crazy but I don't like losing Clarkson for a long period of time. His line has been buzzing the last two games.

It was, but, at the same time, I don't think his play had a lot to do with it. The biggest influence there was Holland in over McClement. I think calling up someone like D'Amigo and putting them in that spot would produce similar results.

Dave Bolland skated before practice and looked "better than he did the first time". Still no timetable was given in regards to his return.

Here's a bit of video of him skating: http://instagram.com/p/jRiAO8Ln0-/. He definitely doesn't seem as awkward skating as he did the the first time. He would be wearing that protective boot that's covering his incision this time around.

Trevor Smith says he is day-to-day now. Carlyle made it sound like they'll use him so we'll see.

Paul Hendrick said that his hand is healed, so it sounds like he just needs to get some practices in. It'll be interesting to see if/where he plays.

9 points in 25 games certainly is deserving of some more playing time.

Imagine a lineup of

Kessel - Bozak - JVR
Kulemin - Kadri - Lupul
Smith - Holland - Raymond
Ashton - McClement - Bodie

In reality I expect Bodie/Ashton to be demoted and/or Holland to be a healthy scratch.

Where does Clarkson come it, there. I thought he was back for Tomorrow game.

He retired.  Wasn't coerced into doing it at all.

JVR has the flu?.oh no

There was talk on the radio that Carlyle mentioned JVR might travel to Florida on his own so as not to infect the other guys.

He'll just infect the average joes & josephinas on the commercial flight.  :P

Unless, of course, they fly him down in one of the MLSE Exec-u-jets.

Bernier...Carlyle said he was " a little sore" before the game, and of course had to come out...lets hope the fact he felt it before hand means its not as serious as something happening in game!!! Any idea as to what it is anyone?

Saw the highlites and saw a nice split save that Bernier made in the first, wondering if he "tweaked" something on that play.  Hope it's not a groin, look how long Price has been out.
