I can deal with that.  My fingers are crossed for ya, Kuli.

I don't know where else to post this, but I'm really impressed with Underhill's work.  JVR especially looks noticeably faster in straight lines this season, and I'm confident it contributed to at least one goal last night.

But there are plenty of people who need their face punched in; hence the need for a roster spot or two to a face puncher.

Which is, of course, why the Leafs haven't had a fight since they played Nashville. There's very very few people who need their face punched in - especially on the better teams in the league.

I don't know, I could take seeing Corey Perry getting his face punched in.

Just for the fact that he didn't wait to be a UFA and sign a massive deal with us!  :)

yeah I think ovie needs his face punched in.  Have you seen his ugly mug? Its like Igor from Frankenstein.  Plus he has had acne for like 20 years.  Maybe getting his face punched in by Orr will actually improve things.

But then we wouldn't have had the cap room for clarkson.

Lupul left practice and hasn't returned.  I'd say it's safe to wildly speculate and/or panic.

Very much so.  This is why I love all these media twinkies on twitter who keep us up to date and inspire panic when a player leaves practice.

Took a puck off the foot and went for x-rays, per Mark Masters.  I'm assuming the x-rays revealed he needs one leg amputated or something.

EDIT: But it's basically off-setting, because Fraser McLaren has been cleared to play.

EDIT2: And apparently Carlyle is a little upset that Lupul wasn't wearing the protective skate guards that the team wants everyone wearing in practice.

jonasTSN1050: Carlyle said Kulemin, who also injured foot at practice, was also not wearing protective covering.

I'm assuming he's referring to the injury Kulemin is returning from and not a new injury.
