Finally another person who think Owen Nolan was a disaster, would rather have had Boyes and McCauley all those years. Even though McCauley was ruined by that major concussion.

I'd have rather had Boyes and McCauley too.

Nolan was a disaster on, and off the ice for our Leafs.  His performance in Toronto was disappointing, and, he suffered from a series of injuries.  He never played at the same level as he had in San Jose.  Then, he launched the lawsuit against our Leafs because he believed he should have been payed during the lockout.  Just a disaster!

So, how did you feel about Lindros as a Leaf?

Lindros wasn't drafted by our Leafs, Brad Boyes was.  Boyes was traded before he could actually suit up for our Leafs.  Too bad the Owen Nolan time as a Leaf was such a disaster.

That the whole drama with his being such a highly touted prospect and then traded and Nolan being somewhat of a disappointment(although I wouldn't say "disaster") created, for me, a somewhat similar sense of anticipation to see Boyes as a Leaf as all of the years of Lindros to Toronto rumours did for him.

To some extent, in both cases it feels like something coming full circle I suppose. Not a big deal, no, but fun all the same.

In a perfect world Boyes is only a Leaf for about 7 months or so.. Moved for a nice draft pick at deadline
