Bruins @ Leafs - Oct. 19th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

I didn't think Matthews was particularly assertive tonight nor over the past few games. Also didn't like his somewhat careless/lazy/cutesy play on the tying goal...sometimes he should just get the puck out of the zone rather than trying to make something happen there.

Really like Moore's game, he meshes well on either of the top lines, much better than Kapanen. Plays a very similar game to Hyman, though in a smaller body and with better offensive skills.

Still not sold on Barrie, think he's been underwhelming so far.

Joe with the O/T call.

Not a fan particularly of Bowen but I used to listen to the games when it was Beyak and Ralph.  Always liked them.

If this game was a portent of playoff hockey to come (Toronto vs Boston), then the Leafs will need all hands on deck, and protect Freddie better.

No doubt the Bruins were crashing the net in attempts to unseat Andersen, to phrase it mildly.

Otherwise, this was a great win for what it?s worth.  Superb OT setup by Auston, one-timer by Marner, chipped off Rielly in front of Bruins net.

Way to go, Leafs.

Babs better play Hutch against Columbus Monday so Freddie will be back against Boston Tuesday.

Usually I don't care to criticize how Babcock handles B2B's, because whatever I get what he's saying in theory even if I don't always like it. But yeah this seems like a prime opportunity for him to flip the script on that.
