Nothing I hate more than opposing players chatting and smiling at each other after the play. Doesn't help when it's the douchebag Perry. You're in a hockey game maybe save that for after the season.
You have no idea what they're saying to each other. Could be calling him a douchebag and he could be telling Jack how crap he is..

They're human beings.

This is a game.

This is not war.

They are not enemies.

Yeah, what's wrong with them? Just planning on putting in 30, 40 mins tonight?
First game back after a road  trip is always trouble for some reason.

Sounds like lame excuses to me. Are we contenders or not?

The team just went 7-0-1 in their last 8 games. Do we really need to get worked up over 1 flat period? Come on.

Of course some do. This is game 7 of the finals don't you know.

Who's worked up? It's a valid question, no?

It's also probably worth noting that the Leafs, knowing what's been happening with the Canucks on the other side of the country, might be a tad bit anxious about the whole Nylander situation.

You're using one flat period to suggest that they aren't contenders. So no.
And it's not like the habs are getting great scoring chances.

Yeah. As much as Montreal had the puck for most of the 2nd, it didn?t feel like they were a danger to score until the last minute or so.

I'm not going to disagree but the 1st period didn't show that. Bottom line is they're getting out worked.

Let's hope the Leafs don't have to go through that. That could kill the season. I remember hearing a few Raptors saying how hard it was to play coming back from Covid.

And that happens in games.

Yep no different than the 1st. I don't know what it is but last few weeks they don't seem to be putting it together for 60 minutes. Spurts of how good they are here and there. Their talent is what's been earning them points as they haven't been dominating anyone. All fairness they could have easily lost a game or both to Calgary. But that's what good teams do earn points or wins when they haven't been at their best. Just frustrating to watch as most on here expect a bit more due to what they are capable of.
