You are not alone on that team! :-\ .... it's kind of sad, isn't it.

It certainly appears that way. I read an article a little while back that showed an awful lot of parallels between them and Palm, shortly before they bottomed out and were bought out by HP. This set of new devices and the new OS is quite possibly their last chance at life on their own.

My daughter recently picked up the Samsung Galaxy III...What a great phone that one is.
Derk said:As for the poor reception in your house, I had the same issues with Rogers when I lived in a basement apartment in Toronto. I tried everything, including some of those signal boosters, but nothing worked - I had to go outside to take calls, even in the winter. That was a few years ago though, so I would hope that technology has improved considerably.

Funny. I think I'll be pre-ordering it for myself that same day.

The black one looks pretty slick. The white one, not so much.
The engineering that goes into those phones is pretty cool.

Well it does, and after Apple's suit against Samsung, it's only a matter of time (possibly weeks) before a major suit is brought against them, with Samsung seeking large dollars and restrictions against sales of the IPhone 5.

Slightly faster, slightly thinner, slightly bigger screen.
Won't stop people from lining up around the block to be first to get one though.

That's really on Adobe to create a suitably secure version of Flash, and, since large portions of the internet seem to be gravitating away from using Flash, that's unlikely.

And yet while they refined lots of aspects of the previous model, nothing about this phone is groundbreaking. The Lumia, while a much less refined phone, had some pretty new unseen features added (remote charging amongst others).

Things are getting interesting, that's for sure.
On a separate note, I'm still content with my IPhone 3GS. Not sure what will eventually make me get a new phone. Maybe when Apple finally allows Flash and I can watch Leaf games on my phone. A man can dream...
